Thanks for sharing this wonderful piece that speaks to the importance of finding the right people. I just got back from ketamine session. I agree with everything you so eloquently stated. I’m fortunate to have found good people to work with. The work still isn’t easy, but I’ve found healers that are giving me love and support I need at this time. I feel truly blessed.

I’ll be listening to the video soon.

I hope things are going well for you. 🥰

Oh, Anna. I am delighted to hear that you feel you are being cared for so well right now.

Things are so well! Last night, my dear friend April Tierney, who just published a poetry book called Matter/Mother (highly recommend), and I hosted a poetry and song show in Manitou Springs. We're going to team up in Boulder and Denver here in the coming months. I wish you were closer and could come!

That would be awesome. I love live shows whether they be poetry readings or live music.

I’ll check out the poetry book.

I’m starting to connect with musical artists here. There’s Quinn Belice with wonderful jazz music posting a video every Sunday morning which is relaxing and also Attasalina. attasalina.bandcamp.com. I like Soldiers of the Everyday.

I like supporting independent artists. I’m having a great time on Substack. But probably spending too much time here.

Looking for to reading more of your work.

I’ll be posting soon. Recent ketamine therapy was focused on working with my creative block. My therapist suggested I’d experience more creative movement and I am. 😊

THANK YOU Tara! Your posts always cause me to reflect, to borrow a phrase, on "What a long strange trip it's been."

This is giving me a great heart-roar YES!

In enquiry dyads, sitting with the cue "tell me who you are", I'm often moved to tears at the homecoming of finally being asked after a lifetime of being told. which very much includes alternative cultures, healers and spiritual teachings, who often just give a different prescription on who and what one supposedy is.

Cian, I am so glad to hear of your heart-roar YES! This lights me up. I feel like you may like this poem I recently published: https://www.madinamerica.com/2025/01/you-are-a-world-by-tara-rae-behr/

"Your friends are those who look at you with an eye in the heart,

laughing, praying, welcoming you, saying,

“What kind of world are you?”

Sending care your way!
